From the lodge follow for a few minutes the footpath no. 103 headed for the Forcola pass, then turn left between the last grassy areas following the route to the glacier, then cross a stream. On the debris climb up to reach its highest point in the moraine which rises steeply to the height of the La Mare Glacier . Then continue until you arrive at the Col de la Mare (3,442 m) and at the end turn left up to the top.
